CM/ECF (Case Management/Electronic Case Filing System)
PACER users may use their ECF login to access written opinions, without charge. Navigate to the Reports menu, ‘Fee-Waived Opinions and Orders’.
GovInfo
GovInfo provides free access to Judges’ written opinions. No login is required. For most filings, a text search is provided to assist in locating pertinent documents. Scanned documents are not text-searchable, but are retrievable by entering partial case caption information, case number, or judge. Opinions from the Eastern District of Washington dating back to January 2004 are available on GovInfo.
Please note: Documents maintained in the CMECF/PACER system are the official court case record.
