On Friday, September 25, 2020, at 1:30pm, Chief Judge Bastian will host Vanessa Montoya and Favio Perez from the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP), in a conversation/presentation regarding pro bono opportunities through the NWIRP’s “Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Domestic Violence Units. These units provide direct representation to immigrant survivors of domestic violence and other crime.  The discussion will be facilitated via WebEx to allow for audience interaction, and the entirety of the FBA for the Eastern District of Washington is invited to attend.
