Judicial Institute for Middle School and High School Teachers

2024 Judicial Institute - October 17-18, 2024

The Chief United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Washington invites you to attend the 2024 Judicial Institute, a program focusing on the United States Constitution, the critical role of the Federal Judiciary, and the Naturalization process.
This event is designed for high school and middle school teachers throughout the Eastern District who would benefit from an in-depth understanding of the third branch of government. Teachers will gain practical knowledge while being provided a variety of classroom application resources and opportunities to interact with attorneys and Judges from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court.

This event is FREE, and open to all teachers who have not previously attended. Travel expenses (hotel, food, mileage) will be paid for teachers traveling to Spokane. There is no fee for the Institute; however, the Court does not cover the expense for substitute teacher. Please apply early, and no later than August 30, 2024.
