We are pleased to announce the launch of the WAEDocument Portal, a FISMA compliant, secure file transfer solution for the submission of non-public documents to the Court.  ECF Registered filers may register for use of the Portal and submit non-public documents to the Court immediately upon the docketing of the associated event in CM/ECF.  Note:  Access to non-public docket events in CM/ECF will be restored for filers, however these events will not allow for the attachment of PDF files due to the current state of that system’s security. 

Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10th, ECF Registered filers will be able to:

• Log into CM/ECF and access the non-public docket events that were disabled as part of the Eastern District’s response to the national CM/ECF system breach.
• Docket non-public docket events without attaching the related PDF file (document).
• Immediately following confirmation of successful event docketing, access the Portal via the Court’s public website and submit the related documents to the Court.  

Documents submitted via the Portal will be timely quality-controlled by Clerk’s Office staff, file stamped and maintained in a non-public document repository separate from CM/ECF.
